A Message from GCH-ICC USA Board Chair

As we approach the year’s end, we reflect on the challenging yet impactful journey at Grace Children’s Hospital in Haiti. This year, Haiti faced a continued humanitarian crisis, with escalating violence, critical food shortages, and public health challenges testing the strength of its people and its already strained health care system. The country has limited access to essential medical supplies, food, and water. Within this adversity, Grace Children’s Hospital continues to provide vital health services to Haiti’s children and families.

Despite these challenges, we’ve seen the power of commitment from our partners and donors like you, whose support has enabled us to maintain our operations. A heartfelt thanks goes to the General Board of Global Ministry of the United Methodist Church for their invaluable support, and to Missionary Flights International, which has ensured the delivery of critical medical supplies. These partnerships have been instrumental in helping Grace Children’s Hospital navigate ongoing disruptions and ensure that those in need receive life-saving care.

Our dedicated Haitian team works diligently to adapt to the daily challenges. From managing medical shortages to addressing the needs of malnourished children, their unwavering commitment is a testament to the impact that donor support has in sustaining our mission.
